Spencer Owen
Spencer joined the Divine Shepherd Staff as the Director of Youth Ministry in January 2020. Spencer grew up in rural Iowa and attended Concordia University Nebraska where he studied Director of Christian Education (DCE) ministry and Theology. He’s previously served at Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School in North Miami, Florida where he completed his year-long DCE internship and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln where he focused primarily on community ministry. Spencer has a passion for sharing Jesus with others, especially youth. Besides working at Divine Shepherd, Spencer loves to travel the world with his wife Johanna, cheer for the Iowa State Cyclones, and spend time with their two children.
