First Impressions

 

The purpose of the Greeter Ministry at Divine Shepherd is to foster a welcoming environment for the people of God, especially the new faces in our midst.  A greeter is not expected to know everyone’s name or even the faces and names of regular church members.  Serving as a Greeter means wearing a smile, saying hello to each person as they enter the building, and assisting them in locating the Sanctuary, Welcome Center or Information Desk as needed. 

You will be provided with a nametag identifying you as a member of the First Impressions Team.  We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before worship and welcome all with joy and the love of Jesus, especially those who appear to be alone or uncomfortable. 

We need you to let everyone know that Divine Shepherd is a friendly church.  Join the Greeter Ministry by calling Vern Nemitz, Director of Outreach, at the church office (895-1500).
